Avoid emotional trading during high-stress situations

Security Best Practices

Enable two-factor authentication on your wallet
Use secure networks (avoid public Wi-Fi for large trades)
Regularly update your mobile browser and wallet apps
Never share your seed phrases or private keys

Leveraging Push Notifications

Configure notifications strategically:

Price alerts for key levels on your watched markets

Timing Your Trades

Mobile trading allows you to capitalize on optimal timing:

Market Open/Close: Many markets see increased volatility during these periods
News Events: Be ready to trade immediately after major announcements
Quiet Hours: Sometimes the best opportunities come during low-activity periods

Common Mobile Trading Mistakes to Avoid

Overconfidence in Quick Trades

The ease of mobile trading can lead to hasty decisions. Always:

Read market descriptions carefully
Understand resolution criteria
Consider multiple scenarios before placing trades

Ignoring Gas Fees

Polygon's low fees make mobile trading affordable, but they still add up:

Batch smaller trades when possible
Consider fee impact on position sizing
Monitor network congestion during peak times

Inadequate Research

Don't let mobile convenience replace proper research:

Use reliable news sources
Cross-reference information across multiple platforms
Understand the fundamental factors driving market outcomes

Optimizing Your Mobile Trading Setup

Device Considerations

Ensure your phone has sufficient storage and processing power
Keep your battery charged during important trading sessions
Consider using a tablet for more complex analysis

Connectivity and Backup Plans

Maintain reliable internet connection
Have backup connectivity options (mobile hotspot, different networks)
Know how to access your account from different devices
